Always Resolve the Chord

About Me February 21, 2008

heber-jan-rachel-harriott.jpgMy entire name is Heber- Jan Rachel Harriott. I am originally from Trinidad (which is in the Caribbean), where I grew up all my life. For 20 years of my life I “thought” I was the  youngest of 2 . Just me and my big bro. But later on in life, I learned that I am the youngest of 3 (2 older sisters by  my dad). I am blessed with an exceptionally, utterly amazing mother. I couldn’t ask for anyone else.

I migrated to the US in pursuit of higher education in the area of Music and Biblical Studies. Graduated from Boyce College (Louisville, KY) May 2007. In 2009 God redirect my life to Houston, TX where I was given the opportunity to pursue studies in Echocardiography. Gosh! I look forward truely helping people, be it being a part of saving lives or being a joy and encouragement in life last moments.

Ever since I became a believer of the Lord Jesus Christ, my heart and passion is to know Him, live for Him and make Him known. The Lord has gifted me in the area of music, and has given me a passion for Girls’ Ministry (Middle School and High School), and to help younger women in their walk with Christ, and to understand their identity in Him, but also to lead the lost, abandon and oppressed to hope in Jesus Christ.  I have no idea what God’s going to do with that passion and desire.

In a nutshell, I love the Lord with all my heart, mind and soul, I love building relationships with people, helping and encouraging them. I live life to the fullest (because you only get to live once) and just have fun (good laughs- come very easy, and solid friendships). My desire is to make a difference, be a blessing and impact lives (no matter how great or small) for the honor and glory of God. Discipleship and Girls’ Ministry is my heart beat. Trinidad is my home and will always be (no matter where I am). I live for Christ and Christ alone.
